                                       ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FOR INFECTIONS 2017 HAS ENDED                                


CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

 

Abstract submission is now open.

 

Delegates are invited to present the outcome of their research at Infections 2017.  Abstracts should be submitted via e-mail to infections2017@upm.edu.my by 15 SEPTEMBER 2017.

 

The Scientific Committee will be responsible for acceptance as an oral or poster presentation, or rejection for each submitted abstract.

 

Please note that all abstracts accepted for presentation will be published on the website prior to the conference.

 

Only abstracts of authors who have paid their registration fees by 30 September 2017 will be scheduled for presentation.

 

 

GUIDELINES AND TEMPLATE

 

Abstracts must be submitted and presented in English with accurate grammar and spelling, as it will be reproduced exactly as submitted. No proof reading will be done.

 

Approval of all co-authors must be obtained before placing their names on an abstract.

 

Abstracts should be original work and not published or presented elsewhere before the conference.

 

Submission of multiple overlapping abstracts is discouraged.

 

Abstracts are to be submitted in Microsoft Word format only.

 

Abstract can be submitted for either oral or poster presentation. Please note that some requests for talks may need to be moved to poster presentations. Details on poster format and full presentation guidelines will be included in the notification letter and posted on the conference website.

 

Abstract is of maximum 2500 characters. This includes the author’s details, titles and non-visible characters, such as spaces and line breaks.

 

The abstract should be structured into the following sections:
 

  • Title
  • Introduction
  • Methodology
  • Results
  • Conclusion

 

Tables or figures are not allowed in the abstract.

 

Abbreviations should be indicated in parentheses following their first mention in the text.

 

No changes can be made to the abstract after the submission deadline.
