Dear colleagues and friends,

It is a great pleasure to invite and welcome all the guests, distinguished speakers, participants and students to our “Biochemistry Homecoming Seminar 2018”, in conjunction with the 42^nd Convocation Ceremony of Universiti Putra Malaysia.

The Homecoming Seminar is an annual event linking our alumni and the Department. Our students need to be exposed to the experiences of our alumni and their advice and guidance would be invaluable in preparing graduates for the work environment. The lecturers can also use this knowledge in developing and improving courses and the overall teaching curricullum.

I would like to express my appreciation to the distinguished alumni, who have consented to be the speakers. Our alumni are always willing to share and help the staff and students of the Department and Faculty. I hope this relationship will continue to be nourished and flourished.

I congratulate and express my appreciation to the organizing committee for their contribution in making the seminar a success.
