1. Best InnoCreative Educator

1. in PutraMOOC

Terms of Application

  1. Application is open to either individuals or group of academic staff in UPM.
  2. The PutraMOOC should have an active status on the year of application.
  3. Only courses that achieved PutraMOOC quality standard are eligible for the award consideration.

Judging

Judges will be looking for demonstrable evidence listed below:
  1. Appropriate choices have been made with regard to the use of media and techniques.
  2. The content of the PutraMOOC has been aligned to a clearly identified learning need.
  3. Support has been effectively provided to learners by tutors and facilitators.
  4. Collaboration between learners has been effectively encouraged and facilitated.
  5. The use of online tools and techniques has achieved the required results in terms of learner satisfaction, take-up and pass rates.

2. in Transformative Teaching

Teaching techniques which have effectively transformed courses delivery especially in terms of students’ involvement in active learning.

Judging

Evaluation is based on the following:
  1. Rationale -  (10%)
  2. Approach -  (30%)
  3. Students' involvement - (30%)
  4. Impact on students' learning process - (30%)

 

3. Best InnoCreative Educator 

3. in Immersive Learning Experience

  1. Virtual Immersive Learning Experience (Virtual approach means >80% of students’ learning time (SLT) takes place digitally and virtually)
    The sub-category aims to identify the online immersive approach/application (ie: VR/AR/simulation/e-learning) which provide impactful students’ immersive learning experience as well as positively impact the students’ achievements. 
  2. Blended Immersive Learning Experience (Blended approach means about 30% to 80% of SLT takes place digitally and virtually)
    The sub-category aims to identify the best environment of blended immersive learning experience which combines both online and face-to-face learning (ie: Blended Learning/Flipped Classroom) and greatly impact on the learning experience and students’ achievement. 
  3. Face-to-face Immersive Learning Experience (Face-to-face approach means >80% SLT takes place face-to-face)
    The sub-category aims to identify face-to-face immersive learning experience model/approach which greatly impact the students’ learning experience and students’ achievement (ie: Service-based Learning, Community-based Learning, Challenge-based Learning).
