This seminar is a continuation of the Regional Seminar on Contemporary Youth Issues 2019 themed Youth Well-Being as a National Well-Being Assets which was held on 12 to 13 November 2019 at Universiti Putra Malaysia.

The theme of Youth and Community Well-Being as a National Well-Being Asset has been chosen in line with youth and community as the main entity of national development.

The main purpose of organizing the Regional Seminar on Youth and Community Issues Series 2/2021 is to provide a forum for the presentation of research results, issues and trends related to youth and community issues. Various perspectives will be gained from those involved in various disciplines and backgrounds related to youth and community including researchers, practitioners, policy makers, educators, NGO groups and program participants.

The purpose of organizing this seminar is to:

 

  1. broadening participants' understanding of various regional issues related to youth and the community;
  2. understand the perspectives, opinions and views of youth and the community as well as various issues related to them;
  3. exchange ideas and opinions on relevant issues, challenges and strategies in efforts to develop, highlight the potential and strengthen the role of youth and communities as drivers of national development; and
  4. creating a platform for communication and collaboration between organizers, presenters and participants.
