Extended Abstract Guidelines

General Guidelines for extended abstract
 

Title: Font Arial size 11. Bold. Centre-aligned.

Author(s): Font Arial size 10. Names (Initials) of authors. Centre-aligned.

Author affiliation(s): Font Arial size 9. Centre-aligned. Full addresses of each author in italics; if more than one institution, indicate the address of each author numerically in superscript. Provide the e-mail address of the corresponding author.

Text should be divided into sub-sections: Abstract, Keywords; Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement and References.

Supporting figures, tables and images of the results (no more than two figures and two tables) may be included in the extended abstract. Figures must be of high quality. All the tables, images and figures should be centre-aligned. Figures and images should be numbered, and figure headers should be placed under the figure or image; as for the tables, they should also be numbered, and the table header should be placed at the top.

References should not be more than 10, and should be cited in the text by the surnames of author(s) and year. If the reference is made in the text to a publication written by more than two authors, the surname of the first author should be used followed by “et al.” and year. In the References section, names of all authors need to be included, and listed in alphabetical order according to the surname of the first author.

Page format: Margin: 3.75 cm (1.5”) left hand border, 2.5 cm (1”) top, bottom and right borders; Line spacing: Single (1.0) spacing; Pages should not be numbered.

The extended abstract is strictly limited to not more than 2 pages inclusive of figures and tables.
