Introduction

THE 11th INTERNATIONAL FUNDAMENTAL SCIENCE CONGRESS 2019 (iFSC2019) is an annual event organised by Faculty of Science, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).  The honour is given to the Department of Chemistry to host this prestigious event, and the organising committee of  iFSC2019 takes great pleasure to invite researchers, academicians, expert scientists, postgraduate students and others from various disciplines of science to participate in this congress. Reflecting the existence and the importance of fundamental sciences, the theme for this year is "Fortifying Fundamental Sciences for Translational Impact". The international congress aims to bring together academics, researchers and scientists to identify and address current and pertinent issues of interest in fundamental science disciplines. iFSC2019 serves  as  a platforms for the scientific community to develop researches and innovations through networking, knowledge sharing and collaborations.
