DIABETES FUN RUN

DIABETES FUN RUN

Universiti Putra Malaysia Asian Medical Student Association (AMSA UPM) took the initiative to organize the Diabetes Charity Run to give exposure to the community about diabetes in terms of complications, risk factors & management of diabetes to all levels of society.

The Diabetes Charity Run will take place at UPM, with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences as the starting and finishing point. This registration is open to all local and international running communities and allows UPM students to have social interaction with the diverse community in Malaysia.

Participants were given two distance options to choose from, a 5km or 7km run (refer to google maps for detailed routes). Along the route there will be 13 signs, 3 check points, 3 water stations, 17 running points.

UPM's security department will ensure the safety of runners together with our own security committee. A patrol unit will be set up to ensure runners are on the right track and safe.
