    TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE COMPETITION

    1. Open to all lecturers and students of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and schools/ other institutions
    2. Participation is open to individuals or groups.
    3. The product or innovation being presented must be related to teaching and learning.
    4. Participants are allowed to submit more than one entry. Each entry must be from a different project and is subject to a separate fee.
    5. Participants must complete the entry form provided to avoid rejection of their entry.
    6. The organizer reserves the right to reject any entry that does not meet the competition requirements.

    ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINE

    1. Each entry must submit an abstract (300 to 500 words - no template, participants must insert the abstract text into the abstract submission space in google form).
    2. All registration and abstracts must be submitted via the dedicated submission system https://forms.gle/soR9Bf5Ds2FvdPSJA
    3. The registration and abstract submission system will be closed on 26th May 2023.
    4. The committee will not attend to late submissions.
    5. Successfully submitted abstracts will be acknowledged with an email. If you do not receive an acknowledgement within 7 days after submission, please contact our secretariat at postercompetitionis2023@gmail.com

    POSTER TEMPLATE

    Each entry must prepare a poster according to the template (Download -> Innovation Competition Poster Template).

    • The size of the poster is A1.
    • Only participation using the formatted template will be judged. Strictly no reuse of other innovation competition posters is allowed.
    • The content of the poster must include the following: 
      1. Abstract
      2. Objectives
      3. Value-added
      4. Usefulness
      5. Recognition and/or Commercialization potential
      6. Sustainability/Social Impact
      7. Authors(s) name & affiliation(s)
      8. Author(s) may also add Photos and QR codes on the poster, and customize the colors and design of the poster.
    • The layout of the poster must be in portrait layout.
    • Fonts must be readable from at least one meter distance, and the minimum size of font must be at least 18 points.
