Introduction

Konsortium Hospital Universiti Awam Malaysia (KHUAM)

The Konsortium Hospital Universiti Awam Malaysia (KHUAM) was founded on 15th June 2017 with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between five public university hospitals in Malaysia. In the following years, six other public universities have also pledged their support and commitments towards this strategic partnership and initiative.

KHUAM was established with the aim of having a systematic and integrated approach to the running and management of public university teaching hospitals. KHUAM not only create a strategic networking and partnership between all the teaching hospital under the public universities umbrella but more importantly it provides an official channel and avenue for the sharing and exchange of ideas that can elevate all university hospital to a higher level during the current globally challenging and competitive environment.
