INTRODUCTION
Department of Science and Technology, Faculty of Humanities, Management and Science, Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus (UPMKB) together with Malaysian Society of Agricultural and Food Engineer (MSAE) proudly presents the 7th Agricultural Engineering Annual Regional Convention 2021 (7th ARC2021).
This program could build the network of institution, industry and society at the national and international levels. The participants are from undergraduate students, postgraduate students and academics from several countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Brunei.
This year activity is a fully online competition – Poster, Research Output Video and Model Construction Video with a theme of “Advancement of IR 4.0 for Agriculture Sustainability and Food Security”. It is not limited to that but also comprised of sub-themes:
- Agricultural Engineering
- Food Engineering
- Biotechnology
- Green Technology
- Agricultural Waste Management
OBJECTIVES
This annual convention provides a platform for students in ASEAN countries namely from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Brunei; particularly students in the field of Agricultural Engineering or Technology to share learning outcomes in class to solve problems in agriculture and food engineering. Promote the name of UPM in general and UPM Bintulu Campus in particular to the local and international community. The Convention can also create industry and community networks at the international level.
