We are pleased to announce that the 3^rd Congress on Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security (COSAFS2026) will be held at the Imperial Hotel Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia, from 3^rd to 6^th August 2026. This prestigious congress will showcase innovative agricultural practices, technological advancements, nutraceutical and functional food research, and discussions on national and global food policies, alongside initiatives that promote sustainable agriculture and strengthen food security. Serving as a platform for collaboration among agriculturists, researchers, policymakers, institutions, industries, and communities, aligning with Sarawak’s aspiration to become a net food exporter by 2030. COSAFS2026 also promotes the development of value-added food products that enhance health, nutrition, and well-being through sustainable agricultural innovations that align with the theme “Feeding the Future, Fostering Sustainable Food”.

COSAFS2026 will serve as a platform for four concurrent international conferences, namely:

• 4^th International Scientific Conference on Indigenous Crops (4^th ISCIC2026)
• 3^rd International Conference on Fisheries and Animal Sciences (3^rd FISAS2026)
• 3^rd International Conference on Food and Industrial Crops (3^rd ICFIC2026)
• 18^th International Society for Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods Conference (ISNFF2026)
  
  

The 4^th ISCIC2026 will focus on the potential of indigenous and underutilised plants as sustainable crops. The 3^rd FISAS2026 will highlight advances in fisheries and livestock research for productivity and conservation. The 3^rd ICFIC2026 will explore sustainable food and industrial crop development, including bio-based innovations. Meanwhile, the 18^th ISNFF2026 will present findings in nutraceuticals and functional foods related to nutrition, health, and disease prevention. This also marks the first collaboration between COSAFS and ISNFF, establishing a unique platform for multidisciplinary engagement across the food and agriculture value chain. The conferences will feature keynote sessions, oral and poster presentations, and interactive discussions, drawing over 500 participants from academia, industry, government, and farming communities to share knowledge and advance sustainable solutions for global food security.

OBJECTIVES:

►   To provide a global platform for sharing knowledge, experiences, and best practices in sustainable agriculture and food security.

►   To promote and strengthen international collaborations that support innovation, policy development, and capacity building for sustainable food production.

►   To highlight and support innovations that enhance the resilience, productivity, and sustainability of agriculture in addressing future food security challenges.

 

THEME:

COSAFS2026 will highlight the theme “Feeding the Future, Fostering Sustainable Food” with designated tracks in respective conferences.

CONFERENCE DETAILS:

COSAFS2026 is scheduled to be held the Imperial Hotel Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia, from 3^rd to 6^th August 2026. Details regarding the congress venue will be released in due course.

Please submit your paper abstract to the COSAFS2026 Secretariat (for 4^th ISCIC, 3^rd FISAS and 3^rd ICFIC) and 18^th ISNFF Secretariat. An acceptance letter will be issued once both the abstract and payment have been approved.
