WELCOME

Immunology belongs to all who are interested in the health sciences. Whether you are an emergency department physician, a postgraduate student studying anti-inflammatory mechanisms or a medical lab technologist measuring cytokine expression—immunology is available to all who seek it.

We invite you to come along to our event, a 2-day immunology symposium followed by a flow cytometry workshop. The Immunology Unit, Department of Pathology, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) comprises 4 immunologists and a strong support team, have been organising such symposiums throughout the years to talk about all things immunology. These meetings are not only to share knowledge, but to pose questions, seek advice and obtain insight from each other.

We will have talks from researchers with careers in lab-based science on Day 1 followed by a more clinical angle on Day 2 of the symposium. You can also participate in our poster and oral presentation sessions.

So come along, listen in, have a cup of coffee over a chat and discuss your work in a friendly atmosphere.
