Collaboration with diabetes Malaysia(DM)

Diabetes Malaysia (DM) was established in 1981 as a non-profit, non-governmental organization with the aim of supporting individuals with diabetes in living healthy and fulfilling lives. The organization's primary objective is to raise awareness, prevent, educate, and manage diabetes care.

We are pleased to collaborate with them to increase diabetes awareness and welcome all participants to join us in gaining a deeper understanding of the condition. This includes learning about what diabetes is, ways to prevent it, how to cope with it, and the methods used to manage it.

Ant Game

Imagine yourself as an ant with a fondness for sugar. However, if you want to maintain a healthy lifestyle and prevent diabetes, you need to remove your beloved sugar cube from your nest. It's best to enlist the help of a teammate to accomplish this task. Also, be cautious and alert as there's a girl attempting to capture you. Avoid moving when she's watching you.

Unity is Power!

Were you aware that disabilities are more common in individuals with diabetes compared to those without it? In 2020, around 1 in 6 people with disabilities in the United States (16.2%) were diagnosed with diabetes, as opposed to 1 in 14 people without disabilities (7.5%). This highlights the challenges faced by individuals with diabetes, and we encourage you to empathize with them.

Furthermore, do you possess sufficient knowledge about diabetes? Are you equipped to handle any diabetes-related queries that may arise in your life?

I Can’t Really See

Were you aware that blurry vision is one of the potential complications of diabetes? High blood sugar levels in diabetes can harm the blood vessels in the eye, which can result in a condition called diabetic retinopathy and ultimately cause blindness. Consider how difficult it would be to maintain your normal daily routine if you were unable to see clearly. Imagine that you have been affected by this condition.
