MICROSCOPY UNIT, INSTITUTE OF BIOSCIENCE

The Microscopy Unit, Institute of Bioscience, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) provides technical and advisory services to support analytical, diagnostic and research related activities. Not only does this unit facilities the acquisition of data at molecular and nano levels, it also provides services in analysis of data and interpretation of electron micrographs. It also offers training for academia/ researches/ industries to enhance knowledge, expertise and skills development in microscopy.

The Microscopy Unit owns the latest and the most complete facilities for research in the field of electron microscopy, confocal microscope & live cell imaging. These services are available for researchers from within and outside UPM. Most of the equipment in this unit is the first of its kind in Malaysia.
